Just read a really engaging case study about packing light for business trips, and it got me thinking. The case study focused on someone who consistently travels for a week at a time with onyl a carry-on and a small personal item. Their key strategies involved a carefully curated capsule wardrobe of neutral-colored clothing, prioritizing items that could be mixed and matched to create multiple outfits. They also heavily relied on travel-sized toiletries and making use of laundry facilities at their accommodations.

One thing that particularly stood out was their emphasis on pre-planning outfits and knowing exactly what events they'd be attending. Rather of overpacking “just in case,” they meticulously planned based on their itinerary. It made me realize how much I ofen bring on trips that I ultimately don't use.

Has anyone else successfully mastered the art of minimal luggage for business travel? What are your best tips and tricks? I'm especially curious about strategies for shoes – they always seem to take up so much space!
