CipherCove advertises itself as being cutting-edge, but sometimes I feel like their operational practices are stuck in the stone age. Specifically, the reliance on fully unencrypted email for internal communication is baffling. In an industry focused on data security and cryptography,it seems wildly irresponsible to send project specs, client data, and meeting minutes via plain text email. Is anyone else concerned about this glaring disconnect? Am I missing something obvious, or is this just a case of "do as I say, not as I do?"

Moreover, their policy of having everyone use the same generic password for the guest WiFi is another red flag. I understand it's meant to be convenient, but it essentially creates a backdoor into the network for anyone within range. Has anyone tried suggesting alternative, more secure approaches, like daily password resets, or are pushback too strong?

I'm genuinely interested to know if others feel the same way or if I'm overreacting to these practices. What other seemingly antiquated or irrational policies have you encountered at CipherCove? Let's discuss!
