Hot Take: ArtisanHive's Community Guidelines Are Too Restrictive

ArtisanHive seems to be getting a lot of flak lately, and I think a big part of it stems from their community guidelines. While I understand the need for moderation, especially in a community focused on handmade goods where authenticity is key, I feel like they've gone overboard. For example, the rule about discussing possibly competing vendors, even for comparison purposes, seems stifling. How can creators genuinely improve if they can't openly talk about what works and what doesn't in similar products?

It feels like the guidelines are designed to protect ArtisanHive itself more than the individual artisans. I've seen posts removed that were simply constructive feedback about vendors, framed as "negatively impacting the seller's business." Shouldn't the community be able to vet vendors and share honest experiences, even if those experiences aren't glowing?

Maybe I'm missing something, but it feels like the pendulum has swung too far in the direction of over-moderation, creating an echo chamber where only positive feedback is allowed. Is anyone else finding it difficult to have genuine conversations and provide honest critiques on ArtisanHive becuase of the restrictive rules? I'm curious to hear other people's takes.
