I've been working through the PawsitiveHabitsHub training, and the lesson that's really sticking with me is the importance of patience. It's so easy to get frustrated when you're not seeing immediate results, especially if you're working on something like recall where every dog (and every day!) is different.
I initially expected my golden retriever, Charlie, to pick things up right away, but he took a little longer than I anticipated to grasp the concepts. Trying to rush things only made him more anxious and less receptive. It was only when I slowed down, celebrated the small wins (even just a single step in the right direction), and focused on positive reinforcement that I started to see real progress.
Has anyone else found patience to be the key to success with this training, or any other dog training program for that matter? I'm curious to hear your experiences and any tips you might have for staying calm and consistent, even when things get challenging.
