Has anyone else found dealing with negative feedback on ArtisanHive to be a real tightrope walk? I'm curious how others are handling it. it seems like balancing the need to publicly address concerns and show you're responsive with not drawing more attention to the negativity is key.
I recently saw a potter get a somewhat harsh review on a set of mugs. They responded defensively, and while I understand the impulse, it just seemed to escalate the situation and made them look less professional. Another artisan, a leatherworker, got a similar critique on a wallet, and their response was much more measured, acknowledging the feedback and offering a solution. It seemed to diffuse the situation really effectively.
What strategies have you found work best for turning perhaps damaging negative feedback into a positive chance on ArtisanHive? Are there certain types of comments that are better left unaddressed? I'm interested in hearing any experiences or advice you have.
