Anyone else find themselves strangely fascinated by the history adn design of luggage? I was thinking about how much the humble suitcase has evolved and realized there must be some good books out there dedicated to the topic. I'm envisioning something covering the evolution of luggage materials, the impact of travel on luggage design (think trains vs. planes), and maybe even biographies of influential luggage designers.
Has anyone stumbled across any particularly good reads on luggage,suitcases,trunks,or travel bags in general? I'd love to compile a list of worthwhile resources for anyone else with a similar interest.
