Hey everyone, I'm looking for recommendations on the best luggage options for transporting photography equipment, specifically when flying. I'm trying to find a good balance between protection, weight, and carry-on compliance.
I've been burned before with checked bags and damaged gear, so I'm leaning towards prioritizing carry-on options. what are your experiences with rolling camera bags that fit comfortably in overhead compartments? Are there specific brands or models you'd suggest looking at, and what are the pros and cons you've encountered?
Also, for those who do check some gear, what kind of hard cases do you trust? I've seen some options with customizable foam inserts, but I'm curious about real-world experiences with those. any tips on organizing gear within the bag and maximizing space would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for any insights you can share.
