Anyone else ever just think about how drastically mobile phone design has changed over the years? I was just reminiscing about the brick phones of the late 90s and early 2000s, with their massive antennas and tiny screens. Then we moved into the flip phone era, which felt so futuristic at the time. The race to make them smaller and more stylish was intense!
Now, everything is basically a screen. We've gone from prioritizing physical buttons and compact size to embracing these big, rectangular slates. Is it just me, or is there something a little sad about losing some of the personality and variety in phone design? I miss the creativity of the different form factors. What design era do you all think hit the sweet spot between functionality and aesthetics?
