My kiddo (5yo) has been pushing back hard against the HomeNurtureCircle activities lately. We used to love doing them together, especially the nature walks and the themed art projects. Now it's met with whining, complaining, and outright refusal. I'm trying to figure out if it's just a phase, a general attention span issue, or if the activities themselves need a revamp.
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if maybe they're getting bored with the repetition, or if the activities are no longer age-appropriate? We've tried offering choices within the HNC framework (like "Do you want to draw a flower or a bird today?"), but that only works sometimes. I'm open to any suggestions or insights you might have. Did you find that changing the schedule, introducing new variations on the activities, or even pausing HNC altogether helped? any advice on making it enjoyable again?
