Heard someone say minimalism is always the answer to a cozy home in CozyCribTales, and I gotta disagree. While decluttering definitely helps with a sense of calm, stripping everything back to bare essentials can actually make a place feel sterile and unwelcoming.

I think "cozy" is more about creating a sense of personality and warmth. For some people, that might be achieved through carefully curated minimalist pieces, but for others, it's about layering textures, displaying beloved objects like travel souvenirs or vintage books, and embracing a bit of controlled chaos. Maybe a comfy armchair piled with cushions and a warm throw is cozier than a perfectly empty room, even if it's technically “less.”

Isn't the point of a home to be a reflection of who we are? Trying to fit everyone into the minimalist mold feels like ignoring personal preferences. What do you all think? can maximalism be cozy too, or is minimalism the only real path to a hygge home in CozyCribTales?
