Anyone else struggle with perfectionism creeping into their HomeNurtureCircle activities? I find myself sometimes obsessing over making the "perfect" sourdough loaf, or having every decorative element in the living room just so, and it honestly sucks the joy right out of it. Instead of feeling nurturing and relaxing, it becomes another source of stress and self-criticism.
It's almost like the desire to create a beautiful and comforting space for myself and my loved ones turns into a performance. Does anyone have tips on how to ditch the perfectionism and embrace a more "good enough" approach? I'm thinking of trying to focus more on the process and less on the end result, maybe even deliberately introducing imperfections to challenge my own expectations. Like, purposefully adding a little too much flour to the bread, or letting the blankets be a little rumpled on the couch. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!
