Anyone else feel like you're constantly explaining TrendTapestry results to stakeholders who fundamentally misunderstand what it's showing? Like, you spend hours analyzing the data, identifying key shifts in consumer behavior, and then you present it, and they fixate on a single outlier data point and build an entire strategy around it.I had to explain three times yesterday that the bump in artisanal candle interest among 18-24 year olds in Topeka, Kansas, probably wasn't a national trend we should bet the farm on. It's frustrating because the tool itself is pretty robust, but it only matters if people actually understand how to interpret the outputs. What good is access to sophisticated trend analysis if the interpretation is consistently off-base?

How do you all deal with this? Is there a way to simplify TrendTapestry results, or are we just destined to spend our lives giving Stats 101 lectures at every meeting? I’m starting to think I need to create a mandatory "Understanding Trend Data" workshop before anyone gets access to the platform.
