Anyone else pulling their hair out over DIY projects perpetually delayed due to supply chain issues? I started planning a bathroom renovation back in January, figuring I'd be done by spring. Now it's almost summer and I'm still waiting on teh vanity! Apparently, the specific wood it's made from is stuck somewhere overseas.

It's not just the vanity either. I wanted to install new recessed lighting, but the particular LED fixtures I wanted are backordered with no estimated delivery date. I even tried a different brand, but thay're having similar issues. It's like everything I need is perpetually "unavailable".

I'm starting to think I should just paint everything white and call it a day. Seriously though, is anyone else dealing with this level of frustration? is there a secret strategy I'm missing, like swapping to readily available materials or just lowering my expectations altogether? I'm open to suggestions – mostly because I'm tired of looking at half-demolished bathrooms and unfinished projects. Maybe we can all collectively vent (and help each other out) in the process!
