Seriously, is "standard" even a real thing when it comes to gear sizes? I'm looking at everything from gloves to helmet mounts adn it feels like every single manufacturer is operating on a fully different scale. I recently bought two different brands of "large" tactical gloves, and one fits perfectly while the other is practically cutting off my circulation. How is that even possible?
And don't even get me started on accessory mounts. I was excited about getting a specific light mount for my helmet, advertised as "worldwide," only to find out it's anything but. The screw spacing was completely off, and I ended up having to do some serious modifications to make it work.
Is it just me experiencing this, or is the lack of true standardization a widespread problem? It feels like a constant gamble ordering anything online, even when you meticulously check the size charts. Anyone else have similar experiences or tips for navigating this sizing madness? I'm starting to think I need to invest in a 3D printer just to make my gear actually fit properly.
