Has anyone else noticed wildly varying levels of success with different brands integrating with SmartHomeHarmony? I'm specifically thinking about device status reporting. Some manufacturers, like the one with the owl logo, seem to update the app instantly when I manually turn on a light, but others take a good 30 seconds, if they report the change at all.It really throws off my automations when it misreports the state of things.
I'm curious if this is purely a software issue on the manufacturer's side, or if SmartHomeHarmony has different tiers of integration depending on the brand? Perhaps there are certain APIs some brands are utilizing that others aren't? Its frustrating as it creates an uneven user experience across what's suppose to be a unified smart home platform.
what brands have you found to be particularly good or bad with SmartHomeHarmony compatibility, and what aspects of that compatibility are lacking (or excelling)? I'm interested in hearing your experiences. Maybe we can crowdsource a compatibility guide!
