I'm finding ArtisanHive's pricing structure really confusing.It seems to fluctuate a lot, and I'm having trouble predicting what my monthly costs will be. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm a small-time woodworker selling primarily cutting boards and small decorative items, so the fluctuating percentage they take on each sale, plus the listing fees, is making it arduous to price my items competitively.
I've tried reading their documentation, but it's not very clear. I’m specifically puzzled by how the "variable commission" is calculated. Does it depend on the product category, the price range, or something else entirely? I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a good spreadsheet or calculator to estimate costs before listing items.
any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated! I'm considering moving to a different platform if I can't get a handle on this soon. Perhaps Etsy or even my own Shopify store would be more predictable.
