Hey everyone, I'm struggling with over-extrusion on my printer and could use some advice. I've calibrated the e-steps and flow rate multiple times, and while it helps a little, I'm still getting consistently thicker layers then I expect, and excessive stringing. It's particularly noticeable on overhangs and small details where the extra filament just makes things blobby.
I'm printing PLA at around 200 degrees Celsius, bed at 60, with a retraction distance of 6mm and 40mm/s retraction speed. I've checked the nozzle for clogs and it seems clear. My initial layer is fine, so I don't think it's a bed adhesion issue. Could it be a thermistor problem giving inaccurate temperature readings, or is there something else obvious I'm missing? Any suggestions on other things too check, or even specific tests I can run to diagnose the root cause? Thanks in advance!
