Anyone else struggling with Wi-Fi interference messing with their SmartHomeHarmony setup? I've been pulling my hair out lately becuase my smart lights keep disconnecting and my security cameras lag, even though my internet speed is fine. I'm pretty sure it's interference rather than a dead zone because it seems to fluctuate throughout the day.
I've tried a few basic things like moving my router away from the microwave and other appliances, and even changed the Wi-Fi channel, but it's only helped a little.I'm using a standard 2.4GHz network for most of my smart devices, could switching some over to a 5GHz network improve things, even if it means potentially reduced range for some items like outdoor sensors?
what are some other common culprits I might be missing? Are there any apps or tools specifically designed for checking Wi-Fi interference levels that people have found helpful? I'm open to suggestions, short of replacing my entire network infrastructure! Maybe there are some "hidden settings" in the SmartHomeHarmony hub itself that I need to explore?
