Am I the only one constantly battling false alarms with their SmartHomeHarmony security system? specifically, the motion sensors seem overly sensitive. Just the other day, a rogue spider triggered an alarm – scared the living daylights out of me! It’s gotten to the point where I almost ignore the initial alerts, which defeats the whole purpose of having a security system in the first place.
I've tried adjusting the sensitivity settings, but it feels like there's no sweet spot. Either it's picking up every leaf blowing past the window, or it's missing actual movement. I’m considering getting different sensors altogether, maybe a different brand known for more reliable motion detection.
Anyone else experiencing similar issues with SmartHomeHarmony, or have tips for minimizing these infuriating false alarms without compromising actual security? Is there a specific placement that seems to work better for the motion sensors, or a particular setting I'm overlooking? I'm open to any and all suggestions!
