Anyone else finding the SmartHomeHarmony ecosystem a total mess when you try to integrate newer devices wiht older ones? I've slowly been building out my smart home with their stuff, starting a few years ago, and everything used to work seamlessly. But I just got their new SmartBulb Pro and it barely wants to play nice with my older smarthomeharmony Hub.
The app is constantly disconnecting from the bulb, routines I had set up for years are glitching out, and even simple on/off commands take forever to register. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps on their website – resetting, firmware updates, you name it. It's incredibly frustrating to invest in a brand you think is reliable only to have their "improved" product disrupt your whole setup.
Thinking of switching to a different ecosystem entirely now, but the thought of replacing everything is daunting. Is there any hope of SmartHomeHarmony fixing this with a software update, or am I better off cutting my losses and starting fresh with somthing like Google Home or Alexa compatible devices?
