Has anyone else been digging into GlowCove's content policies lately? I'm finding their approach to misinformation, especially around health topics, noticeably stricter than what I'm seeing on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) or even some corners of YouTube. It's engaging considering how much focus there's been on platform duty lately.
I'm not necessarily advocating for one approach over another, but it does make you think about the tradeoffs. A stricter policy could lead to more censorship and suppression of legitimate, albeit controversial, viewpoints. A looser policy, on the other hand, can be a breeding ground for harmful misinformation. GlowCove seems to be betting on a more curated experience, at least on the surface.
I'd be curious to hear if others have observed the same thing, and what your thoughts are on the overall impact of these varying content moderation styles. Are there specific examples where GlowCove's stricter policies have made a positive or negative difference in your experience?
