Has anyone else been weighing the pros and cons of DIYing parts of their CozyCribTales project versus just hiring professional help? I'm currently debating whether to build the miniature furniture myself, or if I should just commission someone who specializes in dollhouse miniatures. On one hand, the satisfaction of creating it myself and the potential cost savings are appealing. I've seen some amazing DIY tutorials online for things like tiny beds and armchairs.
Though, I also know my limitations! My crafting skills are… developing. The thought of spending weeks on something that ends up looking wonky is a bit discouraging, especially when I could possibly have a professional create something heirloom-quality. Plus, the time investment for learning new techniques is importent. Are there any specific tasks that you found were definitely better suited to professional services, or conversely, surprisingly easy to DIY? Maybe sourcing the right fabrics or constructing complex rooflines? I'm trying to figure out where to draw the line.
