The rise of "cozycore" and the desire for escapism online has led to a surge in sharing aesthetically pleasing spaces, especially homes and rooms decorated in unique, comforting ways. But I've been thinking a lot lately about the ethics of sharing "CozyCribTales" (for lack of a better term) content that showcases spaces, particularly homes or apartments, that are clearly inaccessible to manny people.

Isn't there a potential for unintentionally excluding or even alienating viewers with mobility limitations or other disabilities? We often see stunning loft apartments with spiral staircases or historic homes with narrow doorways celebrated for their "charm", completely ignoring that these features are often major barriers to accessibility. Are we implicitly saying that beauty and comfort are only attainable within inaccessible spaces?

It feels wrong to actively promote spaces that inherently exclude a significant portion of the population, even if the intention is just to share something aesthetically pleasing. Is there a way to be more mindful of the spaces we share and celebrate, perhaps by highlighting accessible design or championing spaces that are both beautiful and inclusive? What are your thoughts on this?
