Anyone else ever struggle explaining StyleSynthesis capabilities (especially the cool ones) to people who aren't deep in the AI/ML weeds? I've been working on a project were we're using it to generate various design options for a new marketing campaign, and getting stakeholders to understand the power beyond "it makes different versions" is proving tricky. My biggest takeaway so far is focusing on the results and their impact, not the algorithm itself. Such as, instead of saying "the StyleSynthesis uses a variational autoencoder to generate latent space representations," I'm now saying "this tool can create hundreds of different logo concepts based on your input keywords like 'modern,' 'trustworthy,' and 'innovative,' much faster than a human designer could." Highlighting the speed, cost-effectiveness, and ability to explore a wider range of options seems to resonate much better.
Another learning is tailoring the description to the specific stakeholder. the CEO might care about ROI and market share, while a marketing manager is more interested in brand consistency and creative execution.Anyone have other tips or experiences they'd like to share? What's worked (or failed spectacularly) for you?
