Hey everyone, wondering what websites you all frequent for your vintage tech fix? besides the obvious eBay rabbit holes, I'm always looking for new resources. I've found some real gems digging through archive.org for old computer magazines and manuals – it's amazing to see what people were excited about back then, plus you sometiems stumble upon schematics or software.
Another site I've been using lately is a forum dedicated to a particular early home computer (think something like a Commodore or Atari, but a little more obscure). The community there is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with repairs and finding spare parts I never thought I'd see again. Sites like that, focused on a specific niche, are invaluable. Are there any lesser-known or surprisingly useful sites you would recommend to someone interested in preserving (and maybe even using) older technology? I’m notably interested in resources for software preservation and repair tips. Let's share some resources!
