Hey everyone, I'm in the early stages of planning a round-the-world trip, adn the sheer amount of luggage options is overwhelming! I'm trying to decide between a large backpack (thinking around 65-75L), a rolling suitcase, or maybe even splitting my gear between a smaller backpack and a roller.
Those of you who have done long-term travel, what luggage system did you find worked best? What are the pros and cons you experienced? I'm particularly concerned about maneuverability in crowded areas like train stations and airports, and also durability for potentially rough handling. Did anyone regret their choice of luggage once they were actually on the road?
