I saw an article predicting the rise of luggage subscription services. It got me thinking - is this actually feasible,or just another overhyped trend? On the one hand,I can see the appeal for infrequent travelers who don't want too invest in expensive,high-quality luggage they'll only use once or twice a year. Renting a nice suitcase for a specific trip, perhaps one with tech features like built-in scales or GPS, could be very attractive.Though, I also see some major hurdles. Hygiene is a big concern – who wants to use a suitcase that perhaps hundreds of other travelers have used,even if it's cleaned? Damage and wear-and-tear are also inevitable,and figuring out the responsibility for that could be a nightmare. Plus,the convenience factor is questionable. Having to pick up and return luggage every trip seems like a hassle, compared to just owning yoru own. What do you all think? is the convenience and potential cost savings enough to overcome the concerns, or is this a non-starter?
