Hey everyone, I'm running into some compatibility issues with CipherCove and hoping someone here has some experience. Specifically, I'm finding that certain older programs seem to completely ignore the encrypted drive created by ciphercove, acting like it's just not there. I've made sure the drive is properly mounted and shows up fine in the OS file explorer, and newer applications have no trouble accessing it.
Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, were you able to find a workaround? Maybe a specific setting during encryption? I've tried a few different file system options (exFAT, NTFS), but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm thinking it might be something related to the programme's ability to recognize the different drive architecture created by the encryption software, but I'm not realy sure where to start digging. Any pointers appreciated!
