So, I'm pulling my hair out here. I decided to repaint my bathroom, and the paint is peeling like crazy. It's mostly happening around the shower area, but I'm also seeing it in a few other spots. I thought I prepped pretty well. First,I cleaned the walls with TSP,then I rinsed thoroughly and let it dry for a full 24 hours. After that,I applied a coat of primer (a standard latex interior primer I picked up at the hardware store). I let that dry for another 24 hours before finally painting with a bathroom-specific paint that's supposed to be mildew resistant.

The peeling started within a week. I've already scraped off the loose paint, but I'm hesitant to just repaint. What am I missing? Could it be the humidity, even with the bathroom paint? Or did I maybe screw up the primer somehow? I've seen some suggestions about sanding between coats, but I didn't do that initially. Is that the key? Any experienced DIYers have suggestions on what I should try next?
