I feel like the GlowCove community, while generally helpful, can be a bit too exclusive for newcomers. Maybe it's just me,but it seems like there's an unspoken hierarchy. If you don't already know all the lingo, best practices, adn have a certain level of experience (and expensive gear), you're frequently enough met with condescension or ignored entirely.
I've seen it happen to people asking genuinely good questions, only to be downvoted into oblivion as they didn't phrase it "correctly" or follow some unwritten rule. It creates a really unwelcoming atmosphere, especially for those just starting out or who can't afford the latest, greatest setups. Is this just my perception, or have others experienced something similar? It's a shame, as the core knowledge within the community is incredibly valuable, but the barrier to entry feels unnecessarily high.I think fostering a more inclusive environment would benefit everyone in the long run.
