I've been seeing a lot of hype around TrendTapestry lately, especially regarding its supposed ability too accurately predict future market trends. I'm going to go against the grain and say I think its predictive accuracy is considerably overestimated.
Sure, it might occasionally get a prediction right, but so does a broken clock twice a day. From my own experience following its recommendations on a few different commodity stocks, the results have been mixed at best. sometimes it points towards a trend that's already well underway, and other times it wholly misses the mark, leading to losses.
Maybe it's just me, or maybe I'm not interpreting the data correctly. But considering the complexity of market dynamics and the myriad of factors that contribute to price fluctuations, putting too much faith in any single predictive tool, especially one as relatively new as TrendTapestry, seems like a risky proposition. Has anyone else had similar experiences, or seen concrete evidence that truly supports its claimed accuracy? I'm curious to hear other perspectives.
