I know GlowCove is supposed to be all about staying connected, but I’m finding the sheer volume of notifications wholly counterproductive. Between badges earned, friend requests for games I don't even play, and constant reminders about daily streaks, it's just a cacophony. I end up muting the whole app just to get some peace, which defeats the purpose entirely.
Does anyone else feel like they're drowning in notifications from glowcove? I understand wanting to keep users engaged, but it feels like they're throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. maybe a tiered system where you can actually customize what triggers a notification would be a better approach? I'd love to still get notified about crucial messages from friends, but I really don't need to know every time someone I barely know reached level 5 in Candy Crush Saga. Are there any settings I'm missing that might help tame the notification beast?
